The Lombardy area of Oltrepò Pavese is the home of the latest member to join Istituto Talento Italiano, Luciano Brega, a family company that, as they define themselves is "first of all a grape grower".

Luciano Brega makes its wines exclusively with the grapes grown in its own two properties, one of which is in the municipality of Montù Beccaria, where the winery and company offices are also located. The second property is in the nearby municipality of Zenevredo.

The grapes used for the production of Talento sparkling wines, both white and rosé, are mainly pinot noir, with the addition of small quantities of chardonnay.
